Alex Dale was first elected to Derbyshire County Council in May 2017 and serves as the Cabinet Member for Education.

Additionally, Alex has also been a North East Derbyshire District Councillor for Unstone since 2015, has served as Leader of the District Council 2020-2023, and is the leader of the District Conservative Group.

Alex also serves as a Councillor for Dronfield Town Council, and Parish Councillor for Unstone.
