Alongside our investment in a £100k refurb of our skate park by successfully attracting grant funding, we’re pleased that the play area at Crofters Close is about to be upgraded. The Conservative-run District Council is replacing and upgrading the existing junior multi play unit and replacing the safety surfacing. Works should start at the end of February (as long as there’s no snow!) and will reopen in early March. We know play areas are enjoyed by many families and residents so hopefully this will be a welcome improvement.
At the Parish Council, we’re also progressing plans to revamp Norwood park too.
