Our Conservative-led District Council has delivered an £80k upgrade of the play area at Thirlmere Drive in Dronfield. This includes a 2 tower bridge with two slides and a 5 piece swing set, among various other brand new pieces of equipment.
£200k is also being invested in Sindelfingen Park - £150k from the Government's UK Shared Prosperity Funding, via the District Council and £50k from Dronfield Town Council funds. The funding will deliver a major uplift to make the park fun for all ages - with play areas designed for toddlers, juniors and teens, as well as an adults fitness area. There will also be a goal and kick-about area next to the existing basketball court.
A Conservative manifesto commitment was to improve our parks and green areas. Sindelfingen Park is the last of 10 parks owned by the Town Council to be refurbished in Dronfield. This is another example of your Conservative Councillors delivering for you.
